The parking enforcement officer searches for your license plate on their handheld device. Once they find your license plate, they can also see your electronic parking ticket.

A few cities/municipalities still require a parking badge with a reference to digital parking.

• In the following cities, you need a parking sticker: Hagen, Hameln, Heidenheim, Hennigsdorf, Kiel, Lübeck, Mönchengladbach, Uelzen, Graz (AT).
• Note in the app: If a parking sticker is required, this will be displayed in the Parkster app. If you park without one, it may happen that the local traffic enforcement does not know how you obtained your parking ticket and issues you a fine.
